Moss on the guardian dog and fresh leaves on the trees, those green color makes me relax.

Nishikigi (winged spindle tree)

I took these photos in a neighboring woods today.
Nishikigi is a deciduous shrub.
Leaves of it have already started turning to red.


We can recognize the plant easily beacuse it has wings on it's branches.


I will show you the tree again when colour of those leaves change to beautiful red.

Pond in Otakifudoson

I took these photos last friday.
Otakifudoson is a buddist temple located in Kanasugi, Funabashi.
When I visited there, the pond is surounded by beautiful autumn leaves.

Woods in a Hot Day

I often go to the woods to stroll.
And I can stay there long time, because I can talk to trees.

This summer, it is very hot.
It is a nice place to cool down.

Castoff Cicada Shell

Today, I found a castoff cicada shell in the precincts of a shinto shrine.
I think it is a shell of a large brown cicada.

When I saw the beauty in the rain, I knew rainy season had come here in funabashi.

I love walking under those fresh leaves of cherry trees.

I took these photos by ebi-gawa (river) last monday.
Kawazu-zakura is a kind of early blooming cherry.
I like watching bird in blossoms.

I took this photo in my town yesterday.
Here in funabashi, leaves of ginkgo become yellow in late fall.
When those leaves look golden yellow, winter is approaching here.

Funabashi shrine is a shinto shrine located in central funabashi.
In this time, those yellow and red leaves make the shrine very colourfull.

Autumn Colours

You can see Japanese silver glasses in this photo.

Small Field in the Morning

Yesterday, I got up very early and took a walk in my town.
This small field is near to my house.
You can see woods over the field.
I think that woods is a nice home of birds.
I sometime go there to hear birds singing.

Ducks by the River

I like walking along the river.
So I often go to there.

I found that those ducks are always together.
And they are usually in same place.
