Here in funabashi, leaves of ginkgo become yellow in late fall.

This plant is Susuki ( Japanese pampas grass, Japanese silver grass).
It is one of the seven grasses in autumn.

That tree is jugatsu-zakurra (Prunus x subhirtella cv. Autumnalis).
It is a cherry starts to bloom in fall.

I found the moon above the tree.
I love the moon in fall.

Jugatsu-zakura in Blue Sky

I took this photo in my town today.
Jugatsu-zakura (Prunus x subhirtella cv. Autumnalis) is a cherry tree that starts to bloom in fall. "jugatsu" means October.
In winter, it stops blooming.
And it blooms again in spring.
We can enjoy those blossoms twice in a year.

I took this photo today.
These small trees are Japanese Photinia.
It is popular as hedge.

Those red ( not green ) leaves are fresh leaves.
( Colour of the leaf turns to green from red )

Usually, fresh leaves of the tree come out in spring.
But, if they prune it in summer, fresh red leaves come out again in fall.
And it makes beautiful contrast of green and red.

Those small boats in the river go to a shallow in Tokyo bay to catch clams.
You can see nets for catching clams in the first photo.
I have something nostalgic feeling when I see those boats in the town.

Noren, (暖簾)" is a Japanese short curtain.
Those Noren curtains have Ukiyoe design.

By the way, I took this photo in Daiso Giga Funabashi.
It is a big 100 yen shop in central funabashi.
You can see price labels on those Noren curtains.
Those are sold at 1000 yen ( 1050 yen include tax ).
Almost items in the shop are 100 yen.
But, there are items which is over 100 yen.

That place in this photo is not so far from central funabashi.
( It takes around 20 minutes from funabashi station to there by walking. )
Scenery around the river has changed.
