On that day, we had a heavy rain.
Many petals fell by the rain, but those blossoms were impressive enough for me in the twilight.

Kawazu-zakura is an early blooming variety of cherry.
They have already started blooming.

Ebigawa(Ebi-river) jogging road is one of my favorite cherry blossom viewing spot in Funabashi city.
Today, I visited there.
I can see hope over those cherry trees.

Sign by the River

This sign stands by Ebi-river.
The sign says "Keep the river cleen".

Takashobashi in a Sunny Day

Takashobashi ( Takasho-bridge) is a bridge over Ebi-gawa (Ebi-river).
"Takasho, (鷹匠)" means falconer.


You can see a pegion on the model of goshawk.

Under Green Leaves

I took this photo on the jogging road (walking road) by ebi-gawa (ebi-river) yesterday.
We are still in rainy season, but it was fine yesterday.
You can see boys with baseball uniform running on the road in this photo.

Fresh Leaves by the River

I took these photos on the jogging road (walking road) by ebigawa (ebi-river) today.

I love walking under those fresh leaves of cherry trees.

It was fine this morning, but..

It was fine this morning, but those cherry blossoms had already started falling.
You can see fresh green leaves on the branch in the photo below.


Boys and girls were watching petals flowing on the river water.
(Some boys were watching tortoise swimming in the river)
Sorry, I didn't take photo of those cherry blossoms in full bloom.
I will try it next year.

Start blooming

I took these photos on the walking road ( jogging road ) along ebi-gawa ( ebi-river ) this morning.
I have posted photos of early blooming cherry blossom on this blog in this year.
And Typical cherry blossom, Somei Yoshino ( Yoshino cherry ), by the river has already started to bloom.

Small Bird and Kawazu-zakura

I took these photos by ebi-gawa (river) last monday.
Kawazu-zakura is a kind of early blooming cherry.
I like watching bird in blossoms.

Moon above the Cherry

I took this photo on the walking road along ebigawa ( ebi-river ) today.
That tree is jugatsu-zakurra (Prunus x subhirtella cv. Autumnalis).
It is a cherry starts to bloom in fall.

I found the moon above the tree.
I love the moon in fall.

It is still hot in daytime.
But I think that autumn has come here in funabashi.

Rice Field in Summer

I took this photo by ebigawa (ebi-river).
That place in this photo is not so far from central funabashi.
( It takes around 20 minutes from funabashi station to there by walking. )
Scenery around the river has changed.
But a few rice fields still remain by the river.
