I love walking under those fresh leaves of cherry trees.

Those cherry trees have already had many small buds on their branches.

Kawazu-zakura

Kawazu-zakura is a kind of cherry blossom that blooms in winter.
It has beautiful pink petals.

I took these photos today.
It has not been in full bloom yet, but I was moved by beauty of the blossom.

Walking Road in Summer

I took this photo on the walking road along ebigawa (ebi-river) today.
You might have seen there in my photo which I post in spring.
In summer, those leaves of cherry trees shade the road from sun light, and we can enjoy walkng along the river.

In this month, I posted photos of cherry blossoms which were in full bloom by the river.

Last Sunday, I went to the river again, and took these photos.

When petals of cherry blossom fall, fresh green leaves come out.

Petals give the life to young leaves, and fall to the ground with remain their beauty.

I took this photo today on the walking road by ebigawa (ebi-river).
Petals of these cherry blossoms has almost fallen.
And young leaves have come out.
I like this fresh green colour.

Many cherry trees are planted both side of the road.
Those cherry trees are almost in full bloom.
It just looks like a tunnel.

I took these photos today.
Today is Sunday, many people enjoyed those cherry blossoms.
I suppose those cherry trees will be in full bloom in a few days.

River in Spring

I took these photos today.
Many cherry trees are planted both side of the river.
Those cherry blossoms have not be in full bloom yet.
But it is beautiful enuogh for me.

Kobushi (Kobushi magnolia)

Today, it was fine and warm.
I went to a woods near my house, and took these photos.
Kobushi is a tree which bloom in early spring.
So it is a word of spring in haiku poetry.
Those trees in the first photo are very tall.
"kobushi" literally means fist in English.
Because the fruit of the tree looks like a fist.

Cherry Blossom Bud

That tree is a somei-yoshino which is most popular species of cherry tree in Japan.
I suppose it will be bloom around end of this month.
I took this photo by ebigawa (ebi-river) on last Saturday.

Fresh Leaf

I took these photos by ebigawa(ebi-river) today.

I have already post about this cherry tree as Cehrry blossoms in winter.

It is one of early blooming species of cherry tree.

Fresh green leaves have come out from the tree.

I think this cherry tree is "kanhi-zakura"(Prunus canpanulate), or a cross between kanhi-zakura and other species of cherry tree.
But I don't know certainly.

By the way, today is a first day of spring according to the lunar calendar.

But some kinds of cherry tree blossom in winter.

I took this photo today by ebi-gawa(river).
I love that blossom with pink petals in winter.
That cherry tree stood out in the scenery.

I have already took photos here, summer amd fall.
And now,the tree is very simple.
This cherry tree is a typical kind of cherry trree "Somei Yoshino".
In spring, it blossomes with white petals ( slightly pinc ).
And after blossomes, fresh green leaves come out.

Yaezakura

This is a kind of cherry tree, "Yaezakura".
Color of blossoms are pink.
Fresh leaves come out at same time the blossom.
