Kawazu-zakura is a kind of cherry blossom that blooms in winter.
It has beautiful pink petals.
I took these photos today.
It has not been in full bloom yet, but I was moved by beauty of the blossom.

So frail and deliciously pink, in the middle of winter..A real treasure!
Pink hope of spring ...
Wonderful shots, the first in particular is magnificent!
Thanks!
What a beautiful flowers Nobu - how lovely to enjoy them in winter!
beautiful post!
I just love cherry blossoms. My grandfather brought back dishes from Japan for my grandmother that were painted with cherry blossoms and I now have them. They are such a gorgeous flower and one of my favorites. Your photos are wonderful, as usual Nobu!
Beautiful and delicate!
Beautiful.
I saw many postcards and posters with them when I went to Japan.....
Nobu, your photo just brightened up my day! The flowers are so beautiful!
...these photos are so comforting...so spring is coming... It's still so cold here...but we won't have much longer to wait. Lovely, as ever, Nobu.
Oh, the cherry blossom is blooming already? We should see them here soon then.
Lovely for winter eyes!
