This is one of main street in central Funabashi.
Last saturday and sunday, it was car free.
Because festival of shopping area was held.
There are many street vender.
Not only local Japanese but also foreigner who live in Funabashi enjoyed it.
It is pity that It changed rain, and I couldn't take Photo of the atractions.

To have certain streets car-free sometimes is a good idea and there are a couple of places here in Victoria that are car-free every week.
It looks like you are getting some nice hot weather in Funabashi.
car free is a great thing to do ... it lessens the pollution and makes people talk to each other. I like the situation you showed in these pictures.
