This is a kind of bamboo.
It is also called "Sasa bamboo" in English.
We call such low bamboo which has leaf tip is sharp, "Sasa".
Today is july 7.
In traditional custom, we write wishes on small pices of paper.
And hang it on bamboo grass.

I really like the look and feel of bamboo, but I didn’t so much when out landlord planted it underneath or washing line. I was trimming that every weekend, it just kept growing and growing!
