Hanging Daikon Radish

hanging daikon radishThose are hanging daikon radishes(Japanese radish).
They dry daikon radish under the sun before pickle them.
This is a scenery of winter.
By the way, I have often seen daikon radish hanging in farmer's garden, but I have seen it in road side first time.

I've never seen radish drying at the sun. Very interesting the way they hold them with the ropes.

Those are the biggest radishes I've ever seen. It's nice that you can get vegetables like that in the winter.

I'd like to invite you to have a look on a funny home-made decoration - the radish mouse on cold spread.
