Autumn Haiku (stream)

EBI-RIVER
the stream in north wind ;
red leaves flow on the water
leaving tree's shadow

by Nobu

I took this photo on the stroll road along ebi-river at north side of central funabashi.
it is one of my favorite place in this city, I often take photos there.
In the past of few days, it becomes cold suddenly.
I realize winter is approaching to here.

Those look like dogwood trees. Winter is approaching here too. It is almost sad, but it also gives us something to look forward to when the spring comes.

I think that is possibly your best picture yet. It looks so inviting and makes me want to walk along the stream.

Beautiful haiku, Nobu! Very apt for the lovely photo and what you experience there. Stay warm.

I like your Haiku, Nobu. In fact, I like the haiku as a poetic genre because of its simple and expressive.

I wish I could be there, walking slowly, enjoying the view. Then stop and read a Haiku book. You are such an inspiration, Nobu!
