Black and White

Yesterday, I showed you a colourful kiri-e.
But basically, kiri-e is a image of black and white.
This kiri-e was displayed in an exhibition held in central funaqbashi

Kiri-e Exhibition

Today, I dropped by an exhibition of kiri-e.

It was held in central funabashi.

Kiri-e ( 切り絵) literally means cut picture.

Kiri-e is an art work of paper cutting.

Rainy Holiday and Azalea

Today is a holiday in Japan.
It was rain, but I went out to take photos in the rain.
And I found these colourful azalea.
In the rain, these flower looked very beautiful.

What colour of azalea do you like.

Woods in Spring

I took this photo in the woods near my home yesterday.
In winter, those trees were naked.
but the woods are covered with green leaves now.

Azalea by the Path

I took these photos in my town today.
In this season, I often stop to watch this flower.
We call this flower "Tsutsuji" in Japan.

You can see cherry trees along the path in the first photo.
Those fresh green leaves make this flower more beautiful.

Azalea is my favorite flower in spring.

Nostalgic Sign

This is a sign of shoes shop.
I found this old sign on a back street in central funabashi.
It is very simple and style of letters is old.
But it is tasty for me.
That shop has already closed.
Simple words and name are painted on the board.
"special shop for men and women's shoes; new make and repair"
