Sand Pear Farm in late Autmn

After harvest, the sand pear farm looks lonly.
But the farmers still have been busy after harvest.
They have to finish many task before winter, plant new trees, repair trellis...
And they will prune blanch when winter comes.

In this photo, you can see an old woman.
I think she is over 80, but still work in the field.
She was walking slowly and watching the soil.
I suppose she will seed the field with some vegetable tomorrow.

One hot day in summer

I took it on the road along the farm.
Many of farmers in my town cultivate sand pear( Nashi pear) and some vegetables.
This summer is too hot.
I think it is hard to work in the farm in such hot day.
I hope global warming is stopped.

When I walking along the sand pear farm near my hause, I found the sand pear had grow up.
I suppose the harvest will start next month.
Farmers will be very busy.
