"Sanma" means pacific sauly.

Sanma is a typical fish in fall in Japan.
It is slender. and just looks like Japanese sword.
We usually grill it with salt.
It is oily and delicious.
And sanma is rich in DHA and EPA.

mm tasty, looks like pejerreyes...kind of the same style of fish and cooking...we eat those in Chile..loads..love them!
I don't know if I've seen that kind of fish before, but I think it's like what we call "cucut" in Indonesia. We usually smoke it. The grilled one looks delicious.

alaya, it is grated radish. We usually searv grilled fish with grated radish.
