"Matsumoto Kiyoshi" is the largest drug store chain in Japan.
The name is name of founder of the company.
But we usually call it just "Matsukiyo".
Matsukiyo is especially popular among young girles.
Because there are various cosmetics.

Hmmm...I only know MatsuJun! I love that guy! =D
Thanks for showing us the drug store, I think it is interesting to see 'regular' places...here in Southern California the big drug store chains are Walgreen's Rite-Aide(my favorite) and Long's. The young girls like them here too! Interesting that they look very similar, just the writing on the signs is different. Lots of hairspray and make-up. Another difference(?) is that here we have a very large selection of sun tan lotions.

I love Japanese bath products, IN Japan they are nice colors, too. Shopping in Japan is fun. Drugstores too. I like appliance stores, like refrigerators, they are very different from our appliances, Nobu.
Funny how they look the same as ours! Aisle after aisle of packed products. I love these photos of yours. It is like a big slice of life.
日本店とアメリカ店との重要な違いの一つは、私達の店はさらにもっと汚い。アメリカ人はとかく怠惰と不規律になりがちである。(苦笑)
日本店や食堂とても清潔で整然です。
