Those dolls are called "Gogatsu Ningyo".Those are doll for boy's day(boy's festival).It is on May 5th.But boy's day dolls have already been displayed in a supermarket.
Dolls for boys? Interesting.In Poland we celebrate boy'd day on September 30th :)
I've never heard of a "boy's day." I surely hope it does not come to the US...we've got enough "days" that I get dazed!Do boys play with these dolls or are they to collect and look at and hope that they'll increase in value as the years go by?

Thanks all.It is a day celebrate boy's growing.Families who have little boy, display doll( include miniature armor,head piece of samurai) in their house.
