I like it that a lot of people there start the new year at a shrine in prayer. Very heartwarming.

May you and your family be blessed with a new year full of peace, joy, prosperity, good health and much love, Nobu.

Happy New Year to you, dear friend!
I'd love to spend a new year eve in Japan...it looks fantastic. What are those white things hanging from little ropes? I saw the same in the Tokyo photos, the photo with the lady in the pink kimono.

Hello from Croatia! I just spent two weeks living in Nishi-Funabashi. I had a great time with Japanese friends. So i wanted to say hello to you. I visted Funabashi once and Minami-Funabashi a few times. Because I like going to LaLa Port so much:)
You can visit my blog about Hida Takayama if you like. It is still new so there are only one or two posts... Feel free to leave a comment.
