Nanohana Flower Blooming in Winter

tnanohana blooming in winter
Nanohana(菜の花) is a typical flower which blooms in spring.
"naonohana" is a season word of spring in haiku-poetry.
It is a generic name of flowers which belong to Brassicaceae family.
But usually it indicate rapeseed.

By the way, some species of the family bloom in winter.
The other day, I took the photo above in a field.
Those flowers makes me warm in a moment.

We love any flowers that bloom in the winter.
Also, it's time for a new haiku from you, Nobu.

That 's what we call "wild flowers" around here. They do what they want when they want, even blossom in the middle of winter ! Ü
