Cherry Blossoms in the Supermarket

We are in mid winter.
Those cherry blossoms are imitation.
In Japan, school year open in April.
Those school satchels are sold for children who enter elementary school in this year.
By the way, we call such school satchel "randoseru".

Those satchels are much more exciting looking than our American 'backpacks'. What a nice store it seems to be.

Yes, japanese stores are generally more attractive than our american ones.

Your kids go to school in April? How many months do they attend school? Do they get a long break (like American kids do in the summer)?

Here, children go to school from september till the end of June;They have two months of holidays in july and august;So here, we are far of a new beginning;Midwinter means midschoolyear!

Dawn; In Japan, summer holiday is around 40 days.
winter 2 weeks,spring 2 weeks.
But those are different with region.
