Going to the railroad station by the car to get on the train, is not general in Japan.
In Japan, most railroad station is located central of the town, especialy in urban.
So driving parking close to the railroad station is limitted and expencive.
Many of people go to the the railroad station by walking , taking the bus, or riding bicycle.

自転車がたくさんありますね！
there are a lot of bycicle parking around the station.
But there are lot of bycicle illegally parked,on the sidewalk,or back street.
駅の周りには、たくさん駐輪場があります。
だけど、歩道や裏通りに違法に置いてある自転車も多いです。
